Putting My Experience
to Work
I know what it takes to serve in government. Prior to my election to the Assembly in 2020, I worked in town and county government for nearly 20 years. I have dedicated my life to public service, and it is my privilege to continue to serve the 16th Assembly District in Albany.
As your Assemblymember, I will continue to fight for Long Island because I understand how hard it is to afford the cost of living here. I am proud to have been able to bring record levels of state funding for our schools, our local governments, and our police and first responders so that they can rely less on property taxes.
I have also made fighting for our environment a key tenet of my first term in office.
From protecting our drinking water from emerging contaminants to delivering funding for our Long Island Sound and our bays, we all need to work together to mitigate the damage caused by Climate Change.
And most importantly, I know the importance of being responsive to my constituents. As your Assemblywoman, I have made being accessible and open to the needs affecting our district and meeting regularly with residents and community leaders the heart of my approach.
I want to hear from our constituents and return every phone call. You should know my face and know I am a person you can count on. It’s simple: when you elect good people, good things happen for our community.
